Many people believe that Madam C.J. Walker was the first African American millionaire. If you go to Google and search “who is the first African American millionaire?” her name comes up every time. In order to discover the truth you have to go deeper and when you truly research you will find there were others before her.
In this keynote Ja’Net will cover the various reasons for the racial wealth gap. Focusing on areas such as education, politics, the workforce, and economics. She will also cover the history of black wealth in the United States and go deeper than the first page of Google.
